Dave Matthews Band in Dublin

On Tuesday Christine wanted to go see the Dave Matthews Band which was playing in Dublin at the O2 concert hall. We left work around 1:05 in order to catch the 1:30 bus from Galway to Dublin. Once in Dublin we had a wonderful lunch at a sushi restaurant and then made our journey down the river to the O2. When we arrived we were 1 1/2 hours early so we asked for the nearest bar, where we felt right at home (about 90% of the people in the pub were from the U.S.) Come to find out Dave Matthews is not popular over in Europe therefore his "groupies" follow him around the world? Craziness. Anywho... Christine and I made friends with two friends from San Diego whom we went to the concert with. All in all we had a good time. The concert hall was small and the crowd was minimal, but it allowed us to get close to Dave, which made Christine's day oh so sweet!
