Traveling

Last night and this morning it was hard saying goodbye to everyone/things (aka horses and dogs) but I am not on my trip and excited more now than ever. Although I seem to be making progress by traveling so much I seem to be turning nocternal. When I woke up this morning at approximately 3:30 and Andrew dropped of at the airport at 5:00 it was completely dark outside. By the time I loaded the plane and we took off the sun was rising but then everyone on the plane shut their windows to go to sleep so the whole plane was dark for the 5 hour ride here to New Jersey. We have since got off the plane just in time to see the sun set on the New York skyscrapers. Beautiful site!! So now I am sitting in the airport looking out into the dark sky.

Sarah (my friend/exchange student) I am traveling with and I decided it would be best to stay awake on the flight from Las Vegas to New Jersey to make sure we would be able to sleep on the ride from New Jersey to Ireland. We will be arriving in Ireland at 6:00am their time so we need to be rested and ready to take on the day with plenty of energy for exploration. In order to stay awake I engaged myself in suduko, the book The Host by Stephanie Myers and a lovely card game Sarah introduced me to, Phase 10. Needless to say we have played to games and so far each of us have won a round. We will settle the battle in a few minutes so stay posted tommorow to find out who is the champ! :)

Overall the trip is going well so far.
